Our Research Team Receive Prestigious Awards at 2024 SSBH Conference
In a remarkable achievement, three members of our esteemed research team have been honored with prestigious awards at the 2024 SSBH (Seoul Symposium on Bone Health) Conference.
Professor Nam-Ki Hong received the Best Oral Presentation Award for his outstanding contribution to bone health research.
Researcher Sang-Wook Cho was awarded the Post Award for his exceptional work in advancing bone health research.
Professor Kyoung Jin Kim earned the Presidential Award, recognizing his extraordinary leadership and extensive research contributions.
These awards highlight the exceptional talent and hard work of our team. Congratulations to Prof. Hong, PD. Cho, and Prof. Kim on their well-deserved recognition.

2024 SICEM Awards Excellence in Research Project
At the 2024 SICEM held at Seoul Grand Walker Hill, Prof. Ahn from Inha University was awarded the Outstanding Presentation Prize for "Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of MASI BONE S (Alendronate Sodium Trihydrate) in Postmenopausal Women with Osteoporosis". Many attendees at the conference showed keen interest and focus on the research findings, demonstrating a notable level of engagement
The research, led by Prof. Rhee as Principal Investigator since 2021, is an ongoing collaborative project conducted at Severance Hospital and Inha University Hospital, extending through to 2024. The project involves the participation of Prof.Hong, Na-rae(CRC), Eun-young(CRC), Soeun(CRC), and Yongnyun(Biologist), contributing to the ongoing research.

2024 SICEM Academic Conference Award Winners
The 2024 SICEM Conference concluded with the announcement of its prestigious awards. Prof. Kim, a distinguished YBMR alumnus, was honored with the Excellent Oral Presentation Award for her groundbreaking research. Her presentation captivated the audience and impressed the judges with its innovative insights into Epidemioloy of multipe endocrine neoplasia type 1 in South Korea: a nationwide cohort study.
Meanwhile, Sungjun Cho was recognized with the Poster Oral Presentation Award for his exceptional display of research findings. His poster presentation showcased Clinical and genetic characteristics of adult hypophosphatasia in a Korean cohort : a case series study, earning accolades from peers and professionals alike.
Adding to the list of achievements, undergraduate researcher Ji Ann Cho, clinched the coveted Future Endocrinologist Award. ResearcherCho's promising work in smartphone-based 30 seconds sit-to-stand test as an assessment tool for frailty was lauded for its potential to shape the future of endocrinology.
